Recommended by Dermatologist in 2025

3 Steps to maintain Dry Skin

1. Cleanser
2. Moisturizer
3. Sunscreen

These are the core of a healthy skincare routine suitable for all skin types.

Dry Skin Tips :

1. 🛁 Avoid hot water – it strips natural oils. Use cool or lukewarm water only for washing your face and bathing.

2. 🕰️ Don’t over wash your face – morning with just water & evening with facewash is enough.

3. 🥑 Take good fats – Includes Omega-rich foods in the meal like flax seeds, walnuts, ghee, and avocado to nourish your skin.

4. 💧 Apply Moisturiser – Immediately apply after washing the face for hydration.

5. 🌿 Place Humidifier – Dry indoor air makes the skin worse and especially by fans or AC.

🧬Cleanser

The starting of a skincare routine is a cleanser. It assists in eliminating dirt, sweat, superfluous oil, makeup, and environmental contaminations which build up on the skin all through the day. Applying a mild skin type cleanser helps keep the skin fresh and clean without harsh stripping of the skin during the cleaning process. Cleaning makes the skin to absorb other skin care products.

🧴Moisturizer

A moisturizer aids in the preservation of the skin natural barrier of moisture. It makes the skin moisturized to avoid dryness and flakiness and keeps skin softness and smooth. Moisturizers can be of different formulations, including: gels, creams, and lotions, which categorize to various skin types. Frequent application helps to stimulate elasticity and, with prolonged use, it may decrease the emergence of fine lines.

☀️Sunscreen

When using any skincare regimen, sunscreen plays a very important role even during cloudy days. It avoids toxic ultraviolet (UV) rays that may lead to sunburning, early aging, skin spots and exposure to skin cancer. It is better to apply broad-spectrum sunscreens with SPF 30 or above daily.
